Whittier Street Health Center

We’re here not only combating health issues, but also being an inspiration for students who would like to do something similar in the future and empowering them to take charge of their health.”

– Dena Marie Vicente, Whittier Street Health Center Nurse Practitioner (working full time at BDEA)

In an effort to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the students enrolled at Boston Day and Evening Academy, the Whittier Street Health Center now provides preventative, primary and behavioral health care, eye care, and support services to our students. Staffed with Nurse Practitioner and Case Workers, there is a full service clinic at our school. Students may use private health insurance, or register through the clinic for MassHealth and the ability to access all services at no cost to our students and families.
