Our Student Success Team (SST) consists of staff members dedicated to the social emotional wellness of our students. This group includes our Paraprofessional Community Field Coordinators (CFC), Family Liaison, Deans, Nursing staff, Counselors, Social Workers, and Special Education Team. Connecting with parents, guardians, and families is a critical element of our student support model.

Richelle Teixeira is BDEA’s Family Liaison. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Mrs. Teixeira leads the BDEA Family Council and coordinates Title I family meetings and activities. She serves as a central connector between families and BDEA staff, helping families access resources, stay engaged in the school community, and collaborate in support of their students.

The Student Success Team offers ongoing workshops, support groups, and social clubs, including a Gender and Sexualities Alliance and a group for students who are parenting. All groups and clubs are optional and open to everyone.
