BDEA maintains an Academic Review Committee (ARC) comprised of the Special Education Program Leader, Coordinator for Special Education, School Psychologists, Counselors and Special Education Teachers.

This team is committed to ensuring that individual education plans are implemented and all students are supported.

The ARC team meets weekly to review individual cases for students with IEPs, as well as our English Language Learners (ELL).

Four teachers are ESL licensed.

BDEA staff provide families with newsletters and forms in different languages including Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Vietnamese and Chinese.
